On October 3rd, 2015, one of the most lovely couples I have had the pleasure of meeting, said "I do".
Karen and Michael's day was a very traditional affair. Karen got ready in her home with her best friend, mom, and dad. Keeping Karen hidden from view on the big day was of upmost importance, as the look on Michael's face when he first laid eyes on his beautiful bride down the aisle meant so much to her.
St. Anthony of Padua Church in Buffalo, NY was a perfect setting for the ceremony. This church is a beautiful example of Italian archetecture and decor. A small museum inside the church shares the history of when and how this unique building had come to be.
After the ceremony, we were a bit stuck for locations due to the cold and rain. We opted for the Ellicott Square Building as a backup plan because of it's gorgeous Art Deco design and beautiful glass ceilings. Once the rain went down to a drizzle, we braved the elements and headed to Albright Knox art gallery.
Michael and Karen's reception was held at Templeton Landing. This is one of my favorite venues to work with! The staff, food, and ambiance is always a pleasure.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter, I wish you both the best! I hope your lives are filled with joy and laughter and that you are surrounded by love. Enjoy Euorpe you two!
