Bridget

I have had the honor of photographing Bridget for years now! I just love her easy grace and confidence.

There are many women that I photograph who have a hard time with confidence. They are shy or some might even feel a little badly about themselves. When I find women like Bridget, I like to ask them about their natural charisma! "I was super sheltered which was tough. Makes modeling so rewarding because it took a sort of confidence I didn’t know I had." Bridget grew up in a small town outside of Buffalo, NY. Holland, NY is gorgeous but very small, so I understood when she mentioned that she was a "sheltered" kid.

Bridget's modeling talent is amazing! She flows very easily from pose to pose and her hand posture is perfect. But what I love most about working with Bridget is that she is so sweet and caring. This comes to her naturally and she decided that caring for others is where her strengths lie. "I knew I wanted to help people so the nursing field seemed natural. Modeling started as a hobby and turned into a passion a second driven role in my life."

"Bending my limits and trying something new felt amazing. Walking on a giant stage in front of complete strangers for a show is scary then gratifying.  Meeting the most creative individuals in fashion, photography and art is extraordinary." And it shows! I love seeing highlights of the editorial or bridal work Bridget has done.

I caught up with Bridget recently to see how she was doing in this crazy post-virus world we're in. Because she's a nurse she's on the front lines and modeling is all but off the table for now. "with this crazy virus field world we live in right now, its been a challenge daily to not feel major burn out in nursing. It becomes a daily goal to only do so much and try to keep yourself physically and mentally healthy." Girl, I get it!

I love working with Bridget and when all of this craziness is over, I look forward to working with her again! I asked her one more thing in our interview because I wanted to know how she felt about this last session we did together. It was a boudoir shoot and was a lot different than our other work. "Liz is a amazing and strong woman. She never will steer her clients wrong and professionally take care of you. ESP made me feel beautiful in every shoot I ever did!" When I asked about advice she had for other women who are unsure about booking their own shoot she had this to say: "DO IT! You won’t regret it. Everyone has a beauty to shine in front of the camera that’s worth sharing. Trust in Liz and ESP. She has a amazing team behind her and makes women feel strong at the end of the day. Thats priceless ?"
