Elizabeth Snyder, owner of Elizabeth Snyder Photography LLC, will take part in a Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce event titled “Shine Bright For Business,” taking place at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at the Lewiston Stone House, 755 Center St., Lewiston.

During this informational session, Snyder and her assistant, Imani Burnett, will discuss the importance of professional headshots and portraits in today’s business world. “A professional headshot is key in connecting you with your clients,” said Snyder. “Please join us for a discussion on why your brand can’t afford a ‘selfie.’ We’ll also share some fun stories from the portrait world!”

Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the event. RSVPs are welcomed and can be made by calling 754-9500 or emailing chamber@niagarariverregion.com by June 13.

Snyder Photography will also be participating in “Mom’s Night Out” from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 30, at Sweet Charlottes, 10255 Main St., Clarence. The goal of this unique shopping experience is to support local entrepreneurs while spending time with friends in a relaxed environment. In addition to hosting several local business owners, the event will feature wine, appetizers and prizes. There is no charge to attend, and the public is invited.

A few months back, Thumbtack.com contacted me for an interview on their website to showcase our work. This is such an honnor and I am excited to announce that the article is up and running!

Thumtack.com is a wonderful way for clients and vendors to find each other. After a client searches for their needs in a service, Thumtack sends out the request to vendors who are in the chosen field. Then the client is able to choose from vendors who put bids in on the work order. It's a very convenient way for everyone to get what they need :)
